January 8th, 2009 at 21:08:44 ours was around 3 when she learned where to go potty, whenever she did it inthe house we would punish her for it and we would occasionally take her for a walk every two hours and would praise her for doing it outside in the back yard, first she did it int he yard but that stopped after a while automatically now she's just past one, won one throphy, has 3 diplomas and im doing a huntsdog course with her, its going great XD only thing is she does'n't swim unless you push her in ha ha
January 8th, 2009 at 21:31:43 i have a chocolate spaniel who is now almost 2 years, when we first got him, we didn't use a method, we just took him outside alot, and got him used to going to door, when he has to go. Took a couple weeks and he got it, just reduced how many times we went outside little by little and he did fine
