The Assassination of Robert Kennedy
8th January

Robert Kennedy's death seemed an open and shut case, yet in spite of the testimonies of seventy-seven witnesses, it remains shrouded in mystery. Many witnesses at the time complained of pressure by the LAPD to change their testimony. For the first time, Plumley exposes how evidence was changed: how an FBI officer saw bullets being removed from the scene of the assassination and how LAPD officers who didn't tow the line found themselves suspended on ridiculous charges or taken off the case. JFK vs. Nixon - the 1960 debates [CC]
8th January

Clip from the 1st 1960 presidential debate between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. Held on September 26, 1960, it was the first presidential debate between two opposing political parties as well as the first one to be televised. Television audiences thought Kennedy won the debate by a landslide, while radio audiences thought Nixon won it by a landslide. Nixon appeared emaciated, unhealthy, and awkward, while Kennedy appeared handsome, tanned and confident. Closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
